What is Blogmas and How to create money out of Blogmas?
I think we have all heard of vlogmas and the tradition where YouTubers and vlogers vlog every single day from December 1st till Christmas. What about bloggers, what tradition do we have? So, why don’t we start a new tradition for bloggers? Blogmas is not that big or famous of a tradition and I hope more people start doing it with me. It’s a great way to challenge ourselves with our daily lives to get content out there every single day. Here’s how to do it.
Rules:
To be honest there are no rules except you have to post a blog everyday from December first to Christmas. You can make your own type of blogmas and I feel it is a great way to start your blogging career or talent and to draw a lot of attention to your blog (that’s what I did). You can create a common theme to write about for Blogmas or you can write about random things. Just be creative and show your interests. I know blogging every single day is kind of stressful or hard to do, even for me being a full time student, dancer and blogging is really challenging. Although because it is harder and more challenging, I drive myself to do it more and in more creative ways and not to mention it’s fun.
How I plan Blogmas?
I plan for blogmas like how I plan all my other blogs. I use notion to organize my whole life so I know exactly what to do and when to do it. The day before blogmas begin I write all the topics I want to write about. Then I use my monthly calendar on notion to write all the topics I will write about for blogmas each day. lastly I always post a blog the day before blogmas explaining what blogmas is, tips and tricks, the topics I am doing and just informing people about blogmas and the new trends. Although remember that you can plan for blogmas however you want, you can even wing it.
How to create money out of Blogmas?
Blogmas is a great way to make more money since you are doing something different. No one likes a blogger that does the same things over and over again, it will be boring wont it, so entertain yourself and others. Make content interesting and draw people in with not only content, but images and title. Make it attractive and add surprise like little challenges or traditions. Also you are making content every single day for like 25–30 days so you will have more content to show others and make money. Remember blogmas is not only for money it is also for fun and a great experience.
