It’s been around two years that I have been blogging. Of course I don’t blog consistently, but it has been a true passion of mine. I also wanna make it clear that I successful blog does not mean the amount of viewers or the amount of likes that you get. It’s about happiness and self satisfaction. Every time I write I really pour my emotions in life into it, which is what makes people read it every single time. Also, remember, you don’t have to be an English major in order to be writing a blog. I’m literally a high school student that started a blog because of one of my passions for writing, and that’s simply it.

I wouldn’t say I’m the most successful blogger, and that I make a lot of money out of it but I do pretty well at least for my standards, and I do get a pretty good amount of views.

This blog will talk about how to become a better writer, a better blogger, what attracts people, and how to personalize it about you.

  1. Tip number one is about personalization. I always think having a personal touch into anything spurs emotions, and other human beings that drives your audience to come back and read more of your blogs. I always say that I write exactly how I think or how I say. This just puts in not only information but also my opinions so you can voice that your opinions. Not all blogs are like this and sometimes I write really informational blogs that never touches into the first person. Remember, blogs don’t have to be professional, they have to be about you and your interests. You are doing this for you not for anybody else.
  2. Diction. Your word usage is extremely. I always say use professional words, but not complicated and complex words that people can’t understand it. Instead of using really simple and not really classy words, you can use words of much higher class, if you know what I mean. I love to use word. Hippo to search up words after I’m done writing the blog so I can incorporate more complex and more interesting words to draw people in. now this is great if you’re trying to get views, but it isn’t really good if you’re trying to make it personalized blog.
  3. Stick to your topic. Everyone says to have a niche or something that you specialize in that you should talk about. As you can see, I did not have that. Again having a niche is something that might help you to bring in the audience that you want and you may see a lot of views and likes because you’re talking about a specific topic like computer science or medicine or student life. you can definitely have more than one niche like me, I block about student life, dermatology, creativity, so many different things.
  4. Use your resources. Like I said, previously, you can use Word hippo. I do encourage using other resources and seeing other peoples blogs to learn for yourself. I will definitely say blogging is a learning experience and will definitely make you a better writer overall. You can also use AI, I know that this may seem like cheating just a little bit but you can get some really cool ideas by using AI and you can learn a lot of things from AI. you can ask AI to check your grammar or ask for some ideas or even have a general conversation with it. nowadays, even colleges are incorporating AI into their curriculum and really testing the limits of AI with young mines just like ours. so there’s nothing wrong with asking for a little bit of help using AI.
  5. I also like to use the speech or voice button on my computer and just read the blog in my head onto the computer so I don’t have to type it. If I’m being honest, I do this because I’m lazy sometimes but also because it gives a personal touch and on top of that, it improves my speech. literally anything you do in life will teach you a lesson, no matter what, but this has really changed a lot of my blogs to put in that first person and almost talk to my readers. I want to blog because I want to connect with people and that’s something that’s really important to me.
  6. Blog because you love blogging. I’m not gonna say it again. Don’t do it because you’re getting views, money, likes, or you want to go to Harvard, just do it because you love blogging. Blogging and writing is an art and you should do it because you know you have that passion for writing. even in my free time I love to write my feelings, feelings down and really reflect through my writing and that’s really what makes me a better person. Your blog at the end of the day should make you feel good and feel accomplished every time you hit that publish button.
  7. Make your blog, colorful and fun. Don’t make it boring and unreadable. Put a bunch of pictures and stuff that you love that relates to the blog in your blog.

I hope this blog finds you well, but really what I’m trying to say through. This blog is like just write in publish it and don’t care about what other people are saying. you only have a short time on this earth, and you should make every moment count. not everybody is good at logging and writing and if that’s not you then that’s OK. there are so many things that people can do out there, and at this point happiness is all that really matters. Remember you don’t need English major or a lot of money to start a blog. It is just you putting yourself out there and being yourself in front of everybody, even in front of people you don’t know.

Also, another fun fact, you can learn a lot of psychology from blogging. You can really see human nature in action and you can also see a lot of of yourself. Finding who you are is the most valuable thing anybody can do and blogging really helped me reach that. If you guys want to try it and tell me how it changes your lives.
