When you think of a digital designer you may think of a graphic designer or a web designer. Although there is way more to it than you think.
The reason why I put “digital designing” as the title is because digital design is a broad topic. We see digital designing everyday of our lives and it has influenced us so much. To the products we buy and the websites and apps we go to. It influences our decisions almost every time.

In general there are a lot of trends especially for specific types of digital design, although here are a few general trends people love.
3D design, in depth and realism:
3D design is one of the most popular trends. It is kind of hard to explain. 3D affects can be achieved by different shades of colors in different areas, shadowing, mirroring and background. When you see 3D graphic designs you can feel the product. It makes everything much easier to visualized, it looks more real. Although there is 3D affects in animation world as well, it looks real, but different at the same time.
Abstract:
When you think of abstract anything it may be hard for you to put into words. I like to think of Abstract as a unique genre of art. It does not use reality, but uses other elements like shapes, eye-catching colors, different textures and different effects. This genre of art is very broad, but I can say it is very imaginative at the same time.
As you can see, some Abstract art is really different, some are really overwhelming, some is something we never even imagined before.
Dark and light mode:
This is a simple web designing and graphic designing trick. Dark mode makes neon white colors pop making it more attractive. Dark mode reduces blue light exposure and helps with eye stress so we can stare at the scream for a longer period of time (our pupils widen). Light mode is great to give lighter colors also making our pupils contract. The best designs use light and dark together, as it contrasts and sometimes complements each other.
Luminous color scheme:
Luminous is a style more than a color scheme. Luminous is bright, shining color especially in dark backgrounds gives a very radiant look. Some say it is harsh on the eyes. An example is shown below.
Scrolling transformations/ affects:
When you move along a website or app it is always interesting if you scroll and amazing effects happen. There are many types of scrolling transformation effects, some just transform, while others may have transforming text or images. Although any type of transformation sounds and looks amazing to see. This is the newest trend in UI technology. The reason is because of the glossy, 3D, informational design. The design is really eye-catching and is great in apps, websites, graphic designs and more.

Gradients have been an amazing trend in every type of designing. You can choose your perfect color scheme and your theme to make your gradients really come to life. You can use as many colors as you want in any order and in any direction you want to put it in.
Typography:
You already may guess what Typography is. Typography is different fonts, styles, patterns and sizes in letters and words. We can see Typography everyday, when we are looking at websites or just reading. Technology always has typography and it’s also a way of organizing text like titles, subtitles, .
Simple:
everyone nowadays loves being simple, and simple is the new modern. This is psychology. People don’t want to understand something that is complicated so naturally we avoid things that have too much going on. Just think of a logo, everyone wants a logo especially to be simple and understandable.
Vector illustration:
Vector graphics or illustrations are computer images created using a sequence of commands. For instance if you use Adobe illustrator to create graphic designs a lot of them may be vector graphics. The difference between many graphics and Vector is that it uses a lot of mathematical sequences to create high definition, high quality graphics as you can see below (images). Many graphics uses pixels and so do vectors but it uses complex math instead of counting every pixel.
